Communicating effectively is one of the most essential aspects of your social and professional lives, and is the key to progressing in your career. But how do you do it? The NCMA communications training is a two part experiential communications learning forum where you will gain tangible skills that can be applied upon return to your workplace. First, you'll learn why communication is important. Next you will learn the foundational skills necessary for any form of communication. Then you'll learn about the components of effective communication whether written, verbal, non-verbal or visual. Lastly, you will learn the common barriers to communicating effectively. A participant manual and quick reference pamphlet will be provided.
